It came to pass that he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to dine with him. There was one there who had the dropsy, whom he healed. He defended the deed, although done on the sabbath. He spoke a parable to them that were bidden to a feast and Jesus instructed the Pharisee who had invited him to dine. (LUK 14:1-14)
