It came to pass when he came near Jericho, a certain blind man sat begging by the way side. When he asked who it was that passed by and he was told it was Jesus of Nazareth, he earnestly implored his mercy even though the crowd rebuked him. Jesus called to him and he received his sight and followed him glorifying God. (LUK 18:35-43)
