Codex Alexandrinus

Codex Alexandrinus, the fifth-century Greek Bible in the British Library, as one witness. Its New Testament is a transcription of the manuscript itself, word for word as the scribe wrote it, with what the codex has lost left missing. Of its Old Testament only Isaiah (Ottley, 1904) is the manuscript as it stands; Genesis to 46:28 and 1–4 Maccabees are Swete's modernised printing of it; the other books are not here, because they survive in print only as notes.
