Almeida Bible (1911)
The first Bible in Portuguese. João Ferreira de Almeida translated the New Testament from the Received Text, printed in 1681, and died in 1691 in the middle of Ezekiel; others finished the Old Testament. This is the Revista e Corrigida of 1900 as reprinted in Lisbon in 1911, in the spelling of its day.
