The Ethiopic Bible (Ge'ez)
The Bible of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in Ge'ez, its ancient liturgical language: all eighty-one books the church counts, among them 1 Enoch and Jubilees, which survive whole only in Ge'ez. Its Old Testament was translated from the Greek Septuagint in the fourth to sixth centuries, so it is a witness to the Greek Bible. Most books are a digital transcription of the church's printed Bible made by hand, with typing errors; Genesis to 2 Kings, the Psalms, Wisdom and 4 Baruch come from Dillmann's and Ludolf's older editions.
